1. The Acretix role
Acretix verifies whether an agreed outcome happened. It is not a party to your deal.
Acretix is a neutral verifier for outcome-based deals. A deal has an owner and a counterparty. The platform records the deal, the parties' submissions, review activity, and settlement records; it does not take either party's side.
The parties' agreement is between the parties. Acretix is not itself a party to that deal.
2. Shared deal information
The owner and counterparty on a shared deal can each see the other side's submitted data for that deal. Do not submit information to a deal unless it may be shared with the other party to that deal.
The Privacy Policy describes the information the service stores and the sharing that supports this bilateral workflow.
3. Verification and review
Verification determinations are produced with AI models. Where the review tier is configured to do so, Acretix can delegate a review to the external Acretix Verify engine; otherwise the service uses its inline AI review path.
A review can return a determination or request more information when the evidence is insufficient. AI review is not the only path: a deal owner or principal may escalate a cycle while it is in review, awaiting information, or disputed. Escalated cases can be handled through the available analyst, auditor, and arbitration tiers. The product's case state and assigned role control which human action is available; these Terms do not set an automatic escalation threshold.
The legal effect of any determination remains an open item above. The service records review activity; it does not represent that an AI or human determination is a court judgment or other legal ruling.
4. Statements and settlement between the parties
Acretix calculates settlement statements from the operative terms, recorded measurements, adjustments, and applicable caps. A statement records the calculation for the cycle.
Acretix does not move deal money between the parties. The parties settle any amount between themselves outside the platform.
5. Settlement proofs and independent checking
Acretix creates signed settlement proofs for issued statements. The proof is designed for a third party outside the platform to verify rather than merely trust a screen in the service.
The public verification experience checks a supplied signed engine proof against published trusted keys and the engine's trusted terminal record when that trust source is configured. A proof that is unsigned, malformed, signed by an unknown key, or does not match the trusted record is rejected.
6. Plans, credits, and fees
Acretix uses Stripe billing for service plans and credits. Where enabled, the service also meters success-fee usage associated with a deal. These charges concern use of Acretix; they are not a transfer of settlement money between deal parties.
The commercial terms that apply to those charges, including refunds, are unresolved and listed in the open items above.
